It's hardly surprising, though...it is the sequel to the highest-grossing movie of the last 5 years. And the trailer is actually good! Plus, people are sharing this like it's the end of the world.

It's having huge reactions, can't get why people are so angry, at least it seems GA (casual moviegoers) are liking it..............however the most recurring thing I've read on comments is how it could turn into a transformers flick due to the destruction showed

However knowing Whedon his action is more character driven so I think the action will be more enjoyable then in the TF films.

Like people always say the Action in TA was not as epic as TF.
However in TA the action is more one liners and jokes and seeing the characters interact with each other.
in TF its like your giving a backdrop and random explosions are happening.
Eh! I wonder how many of them still feel that way after TF4 ? I mean ''epic action'' is one thing, but there's nothing wrong with atleast trying to put some effort into it. Michael Bay got really lazy after TF1/TF2 and just continued to do the same shit in every movie.
I actually don't even mind the first two TF movies, but the finale of Avengers is easily 10x's more engrossing and satisfying than anything from the TF movies. I'd rather have a well crafted/exciting finale any day over shit blowing up out of context. That to me is what epic action should be.
I've never heard such a shit before, TA effects are top notch

Yeah that is insane. The scenes where they're bickering for ten minutes at a time is TV-like, but the action could only be achieved through cinema.
