To rent a house like that for a month, if it was in Cali, they're looking at about $10+k.

"No Good Deed" was filmed entirely in Atlanta, Georgia.

Well then you're looking at about $500 for a month's rent.

That's too low for The Maze Runner

Special effects might not be that impressive.....I guess

District 9 only had a $30 mil budget, and those effects were top notch.

That also wasn't a Hollywood production where good visual effects generally cost a lot. But, as usual, trolls always create an argument based on the exceptions to a rule.

The production company isn't "hollywood" though. And the director, I believe, is very experienced in VFX.

I don't see anything wrong with the budget.

Ok, so you just Googled the production company. Well done. I can forgive Brian for, like the rest of us, thinking The Maze Runner was a Hollywood production. It's hardly noticeably non-American. I bet it's still from a country where visual effects are costly, unlike your example.

The Hunger Games had twice the budget and the dogs in that looked beyond awful.

#draculaisabomb

Alexander could be a small hit if it opens above 20m, very unlikely though

Strong for Alexander, Judge will need overseas to break even, same for Dracula.

Seems a little high for Fury, but not too bad for any of those.

To me, 68 million for a period war action film with Brad Pitt is a mighty impressive budget.
