Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
Nice call on Assassins, it's criminally underrated.
My top 5 even though it's a top 3 thread.
1. Every Rocky but V 2. First Blood 3. Cop Land 4. Assassins 5. Demolition Man
Even cheating I couldn't include Cliffhanger, Shade, Expendables, Oscarm First Blood 2 or Tango and Cash. All are great IMO, and the rank will change depending on whatever mood I'm in.

Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
Agreed. Assassins is very cool and riveting, and it holds up well.

Rocky
(...I like Stallone, but no other individual film particularly stands out enough for my vote in the poll.)

BJs top 3:
1. Rocky 2. Assassins 3. Demolition Man
This was actually quite hard for me, I have seen a lot of his films and these three aren't necessarily his best but they are my favorites.

Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
Uh...
Rocky is brilliant.
Having a hard time coming up with any other Stallone movies I even like. I guess Cop Land and First Blood are good.

Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
Quite unsurprisingly Rocky and First Blood lead the poll. I am surprised that Rambo (2008) and The Expendables received a vote, though.

Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
Bit of a strange Top Ten, missing out all Rambo movies, and including Rocky V and Grudge Match??! But I am glad they included Assassins, and so high too!! It's an underrated 90s action classic.

Re: Top three Sylvester Stallone movies
I probably need to rewatch Assassins. I watched it in the mid 90s and didn't think it was that great. On video though and in a group of friends so was probably distracted.
