 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
I route for certain movies so I am fine with making stupid posts. I change my mind quite often based on conditions.
I don't care if you or Omni or axiom or Brian agree with that stupid Algren and think I make stupid posts. Algren is on my ignore list so I don't read his posts or respond to them....anything that quotes him is most often not read by me. I give justifications before I make posts or in case of movies are route for I don't, unlike you who don't post as regularly aside from picking up some of my posts and LOLing them.

Still think this will be more of $200m performer than $300m.

Under 200m predictions show that your faith in Nolan is depressing

 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
New trailer does a really good job of selling the film to a mainstream audience without giving too much away. I've unsure about how to predict this, but I'm pretty certain about $250+ million right now.

 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
Is anyone else sad that they don't refer to Chris Nolan as the director of Memento anymore?
New trailer is better, but outside of them saying Yes to Nolan's name it didn't get much of a reaction from them.

 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
It's one of the best non-summer blockbuster trailers I've ever seen.

 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
I felt a sense of adventure and exploring the unknown from the teaser. Now the trailer makes it seem like it will be a mission to save us kind of thing. I would have preferred the former. That doesn't mean it won't be great and it won't make a ton of money. 250-300M seems about right for now. It will really need to be special and do more to entice average moviegoers to do more than that.

What about an adventurous mission to save us by exploring the unknown?

 Re: Interstellar Domestic Predictions
Eh. Doesn't scream very exciting to me. Maybe they're trying to sell the movie with only the first third or something but it's not that strong.
