I am still IN even though I wasn't really impressed with the last trailers and Godzilla seems to be stealing away a lot of buzz domestically.

$125M 4-day would probably lead to sub $250M.

Don't care about the total

I would be more than happier and satisfied if DoFP becomes the highest grossing superhero film of the year, beating TAS2, Cap 2, Guardians of the Galaxy and Big Hero 6

The marketing ship has righted itself with the second waves. They lost the narration and added "Kashimir". Its still a shame that the first wave was so bad. They lost a ton of momentum with that coming right after the sex scandal.

At this point, with the second lawsuit against Singer I've gotta wonder, whether these allegations will end up hurting the film.

It is a good start and there is time for it to go even higher.

Well the thing is 99% of the people don't even know about it since the main stream press haven't said one word about the lawsuits.

Its still early I am hoping for Memorial-Day weekend record of Pirates even though if it takes that marginally with $140m-$143m. Interesting to see how close the tracking is to the total of First Class.

Unless something really, really compelling comes out re: the Singer case prior to release I don't really think it's going to have much of an impact.

I do think that there are going to be conversations between FOX & Singer about bringing on a new director for Apocalypse if this isn't settled fairly soon. I can't believe it hasn't been settled already, honestly.

Lawsuits won't do anything against the film, GA do not even recognize who Singer is.

However if these legal problems persist time after the release date and become bigger, final gross would be damaged by no more than 10m,,,,I guess

Yeah this will have zero impact on the film. I don't know of anybody who is boycotting it because of it, although there might be a few out there.

I think it looks awesome and hope it does make 100% more but I just don't see it. I think it will make between 250-275.

Some of them are calling it the best X-Men film so far, which is great to hear.

100% increase would be about 292 total?

Not in. X-Men is still big but not that big.

I mean we are talking here Spiderman/Batman(without Begins) regions and X-men never was.

Just once, and not with the X-Men franchise

He's not made an X-Men movie in the last decade, so you're correct about that!

Bryan Singer is ok. Superman Returns isn't great, Valkyrie is good, and Jack the Giant Slayer is interesting, but just so-so. He was much better pre-2004.

Kinda agree, except for Superman Returns, the film is good, offcourse it is not as awesome as MoS

What I think is that DoFP seems to be Singer's best film to date
X2 is just incredible and I hope it be topped

It will be difficult for him to surpass X2 in terms of quality.
