Re: Amazing Spider-Man 2 Previews Honestly, I was expecting much less. It'll have a stronger Preview-Opening Day IM than Captain America and it should have stronger family appeal, so it'll be fine. $100 million is still in play.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man 2 Previews There's no 'must see' factor anymore with previews because it's brought forward to 7 and 8pm. Seeing a film at midnight was an occasion to celebrate your inner fan hood. So, I agree with Chippy, previews now don't show us much.

I was expecting it to be more frontloaded than CA2; Saturday biz for that was up 30% from Friday minus previews, so I don't think it was starving for family appeal.
