Only really care about Frozen staying in the top 10! Hopefully it does.

Damn it! :( Fucking Monuments Men :P.

The total probably won't reach 4 Million at the Box Office. Very interested in the VOD numbers.

What respectable Marshmallow wasn't going to see it opening day? ;) Would have been really interesting to see how much more it could have taken in without this whole digital download stuff. If they made a sequel I think they should do away with the VOD option and release it in maybe 700-800 theaters. I believe they probably would refrain from doing VOD at least upon its initial opening.

Anyway, top pre-orders on Amazon:

Top 10 Pre-orders United States

1. Frozen
2. American Hustle
3. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 3D
4. Saving Mr. Banks
5. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
6. The Wolf of Wall Street
7. Veronica Mars: The Movie
8. The Pirate Fairy
9. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues
10. The Lego Movie 3D

Hardly surprising, though. If there was ever going to be a movie that was frontloaded, it was going to be one where the audience paid for the product to be made in the first place.

Only two films in the past 20 years have spent more consecutive weeks in the top 10 than Frozen, MBFGW and Titanic.

16 weekends in the top 10, spanning over 5 months! From what I could find, only 1 other $30 m + opener has spent that many weekends in the top 10 (Jurassic Park).

Yes it is just unbelievable what Frozen is doing. I think it can spend another weekend IF it holds well in face of Muppets. I am sure SOG will drop harder but the difference between the two is a bit big so another 40% drop and it will be out of Top 10. Plus the DVD releases next week so it has to compete that as well.
