So do I, but your list has also made me want to revisit some non-horror favorites. I love that Austin Powers trilogy and I've seen it more times than I feel comfortable admitting. I'll be damned if they still don't make me laugh.

Sorry to sound like a pain, but I checked page 1 and I don't think I got added to the waiting list for this after my post a few pages back.

Could I get added to the list?

Cheers.

Quite a few movies I love up there. My favorite of all time is near the top.

I wonder, how did everyone else create their lists? I'm using netflix, it seems to be the best way especially considering that I've rated just about every one of my favorite movies.

DPO7, i chose my movies by looking at my collection.

Then, for newer ones (not released), i looked at my cinema tickets.

I'm missinge about 30 of my top 100 from my DVD collection. I have over 800 movies rated at Netflix. I'd estimate I've seen about 1,000 in my life, but most of the ones missing are the ones I don't like very much.

I probably went a bit too far as I made a list of 425. I'm probably missing about 25 that also deserve to be ranked up there in the top 450, but I'm certain I'm not missing anything from the top 100.

Oh, those movies on the list are the ones that have a 7/10 or above. Those are also the ones that I consider good enough to buy on DVD. I own about 200 of those 425.

6-6.9 25.00%
5-5.9 15.00%

3-3.9 4.00%
2-2.9 0.50%

0-0.9 2.00%
Median: About 6.8

Of all movies:
9+ 1.50%
8-8.9 5.00%

Most are between 3-7.9 since I want to keep the very top and bottom as exclusive as possible. I tend to stuff alot of films into 7-7.9 since that's were most of the films go that I wish to buy. When I started this grading system I arbitrarily decided that 7 was the cutoff point for buying a DVD. As a result, I've made sure that if a movie is good enough to buy, it's above 7.

DP07's top 426 films

I have the top 121 in order, before then, all the films with a certain score are not displayed randomly, arranged in order.
