Most likely HUGE upset at this year's Oscars?
As every year, here's the poll asking for which of these arguably huge surprises could you see happening on Oscar night.
Well?

For the love of god, please let the answer be "Alone Yet Not Alone" by Legend Joni Eareckson Tada winning Best Song.
I love Let It Go but we need this to happen.

Please god no.
Also, Leto could "easily" lose. So I voted for that.

I love Let It Go but we need this to happen. Won't happen as all members of the Academy will vote. Could happen if the Oscar would be only given by the members of the music branch as it happens with the nominations.

But it would be like the most glorious moment in Oscar history if it did. I would literally pee my pants. I just hope all the songs are performed. I MUST SEE QUEEN JONI ON THAT STAGE.

Nebraska could win Best Original Screenplay.

Yes and that's deliberately so. Adams' win, for instance, would be surprising, but not a HUGE upset that would shock everyone. The question is about the options in the poll.

Leto losing supporting actor, if only because the category is so strong.

I think that is the least likely upset of all above. Leto is about as locked as Heath Ledger, Christoph Waltz and Javier Bardem were in their years.

Re: Most likely HUGE upset at this year's Oscars?
I'll probably go with Gravity winning less than four Oscars. I could see winning just Visual Effects, one sound category, and one between cinematography and editing.

Re: Most likely HUGE upset at this year's Oscars?
I'm gonna go with Nebraska winning something. I have a gut feeling that with the terrific reception the film got and given how well it did nominations-wise, it won't end up empty-handed, though I am not yet sure what it could win...

It is a natural screenplay winner.

Re: Most likely HUGE upset at this year's Oscars?
Well, right now Her and American Hustle are far ahead of it in the screenplay race. i am not sure if I have seen Nebraska winning any screenplay awards so far. But it might shockingly happen. Or Dern winning.

Re: Most likely HUGE upset at this year's Oscars?
I do not believe Her is ahead of it in regard to the Oscar race. Critics, and the Hollywood Foreign Press, are a different beast.
Nebraska is more accessible than Her, particularly to the older Academy members, and it scored in Best Director, which indicates, to me, a bit more momentum and strength in general.
I do agree it is behind American Hustle, though.
