 Re: NY Film Critics Circle Awards I was pulling for Adèle Exarchopoulos, but Cate Blanchett is definitely superior to Sandra Bullock, even if I am mostly indifferent toward Blue Jasmine.

Re: NY Film Critics Circle Awards No matter what film wins now, the awards are ALL OVER THE PLACE. American Hustle is the only film to win more than one award so far. Kinda like 2009...
Last year we had Zero Dark Thirty and Lincoln getting three each.

ALso, the fact that Blancheet apparently won fairly easily may mean she's the clear frontrunner for that category, though I'm not sure if the critics had seen Streep yet. Meryl is not going to be a factor in this race (other than being nominated), forget about her.
