 It took 567 weekends but... Space Station 3D IMAX finally passed Everest IMAX as the highest-grossing IMAX-only film in history last month!
I wonder when they'll stop tracking it.

If I were them, I would do a big expansion of some sort to help push it quickly to $100 m. Gravity really re-energized space movies so I could see a big market of people that might want to see this.

Re: It took 567 weekends but... The list at BOM doesn't track how much a regular movie like Gravity makes in its entire run in IMAX? They should it would be interesting to track that as well....Records would be broken so very often

I've seen it five times, and I'll go see it again when it's playing at a true IMAX theatre convenient to my travels.
Space Station 3D IMAX altogether deserves the record!
