 Thursday numbers
Quote: @giteshpandya 1h Fall hit #Gravity heads into 3rd wknd w/ $139.5M. On course to beat summer smashes WorldWarZ, StarTrek & Fast&Furious6! That's a $3.5 million Thursday, which is flat with Wednesday. Quote: @giteshpandya 26m #Carrie grossed $725k THU night from late shows starting at 10p. That's about half of what Insidious2 did last month.

 Re: Thursday numbers
Carrie is gonna be the horror version of Cloudy 2.
Expected breakout because of an empty horror market. But subdued OW with decent legs.

 Re: Thursday numbers
Is this year the only year when a horror movie is not released around October 31st? It seems very odd to not see one on the schedule.

What's your projection for Gravity's total at this point?

 Re: Thursday numbers
A lot of times people don't watch horror movies on Halloween. Adults have kids for trick or teatin (Or if you're really into it with no kids, you're guarding the door) The week before usually seems better. A lot of the core audience is wearing costumes trying to grind up on each other. Plus it all depends on when the 31st.
To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen a horror movie on Halloween in theaters. That's what the whole month before is for.

Actually a very strange WEEK for Cloudy...
