I would love, love to see the Viking epic he has always flirted with.

I just saw the You've Got Mail pick. LOVE IT. Wasn't on my list (though I did quote it for The Godfather statement). One of the great rom-coms. Cruise/Ryan at their best.

Yes, Cruise is amazing in You've Got Mail. He vanishes into the role of Tom Hanks.

Add me to the queue. My list isn't done, but by the time it gets to me I"ll be close and post what I have at the time. How many are in front of me?

Wasn't DiCaprio going to be the lead in this one or am I misremembering something? I mean, how unbelievable awesome would that have been?

I too think he should go back to directing, but I want another real Mel Gibson movie before that. I'm thrilled he's the main villain in Expendables but I don't like how he's just a better supporting actor now. Gibson rules the screen, he should be the lead in every movie he's starring in.

I still need to see Little White Lies.

I slightly prefer Mad Max to the sequel, as evidenced by the first film's inclusion on my list, but I love both. I almost included The Road Warrior, too.

Perhaps the most surprising element of your list so far is your love of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, which I was not aware of.

I thought Road Warrior would be #1, top 5 at worst. Great movie, would probably end up in my 200-101s.

Lol, well.. then the rest of the list won't make me any more manlier in your eyes.

Oh and they're all fantastic, brilliant choices. I'm actually not that much into rom-coms, but the ones on my list, I love to death.

You really should watch it. Almost no one here has seen it and I would be interested in your opinion of it. Though I'm well aware that this is one of those times were a movie just made click with me. I don't expect anyone to love it as much as I do. It grew A LOT on me during repeat viewings. It wasn't love at first sight.

I love Meet Joe Black, too. Undervalued. And I wouldn't cut any of it. I dig the corporate-intrigue scenes as much as the central Death-on-holiday storyline.

And a terrific, terrific original score.

Riggs, as a side note, have you seen The Year of Living Dangerously?

The score is AMAZING. One of the best ever, imo.

Yes I have but that, was like 15 years or more ago and I don't remember it very well. I want to wait for the Blu-Ray release to finally watch it again.
