a woman is a woman, pierrot le fou, masculin féminin, alphaville, notre musique, in order of goodness. the first i just saw, it was pretty great, would end up somewhere on the list. hated notre musique.
i'll check out sans soleil, it's at the uni library.

i'll check out sans soleil, it's at the uni library. ok. well I would recommend finishing out his sixties work and then liking it more. not sure I trust someone who doesn't include Pierrot le fou on a top 100 list.

Didn't take too long for the first cellar joke.  Vol.2 is superior to Vol.1 in every way. I'm actually bored through many parts of Vol.1 (especially during the climax which goes on for faaar too long), so it didn't felt right to include it on my list.
