First, it's something positive and productive he is contributing to KJ, rather than his more common lame trolling for attention. Second, he initiated the idea. He also was * spacing it out a bit as an ongoing activity, rather than squeezing a whole decade into a thread. Much more discussion gets generated in a single year thread. Jamming a the whole 70's into one thread like this to snipe the topic away from Algren is both rather rude and unproductive. Third, you've created your share of great threads - - I especially like all your music list threads in recent months. Don't be afraid to share the wealth. ( * I see now that he is rushing to create them all at once after you slipped your 1981 list into his 1980 thread. This is why KJ can't have nice things.  )
