Reign over Me is decent. Sandlers performance is heartbreaking. Without him the movie would be just decent, imo.

Re: Ten most underrated films of the 21st century so far? Funny people is. as is Identity, Bloody Valentine, The Mist I still think the best horror films of the last 13 years outside of The Descent. I'd throw 1408 in there as well for PG 13 horror, though that one was a pretty solid hit.
And over to Nic Cage, despite his recent reputation: The Weather Man, Lord of War, Next, Drive Angry are all very solid films that really missed the mark box office wise.

Re: Ten most underrated films of the 21st century so far? 2005 was Cage's last truly great year. He hit two home runs with Lord of War and The Weather Man, whether audiences showed up or not.

Re: Ten most underrated films of the 21st century so far? The Invention of Lying is a very good film, as is Ghost Town. Not sure I'd include them in my Top 20 most underrated movies though.
