Addiction isn't something that can just be brushed aside with "knowing better."

This stuff is common sense so he Knew better. Plus, he did a stint of rehab previously. Did he suddenly forget everything? No, no no.
It's still a shame he's gone, but we can at least be real about the terrible choice he made.
