Curse of Chucky - the latest installment in the Child's Play franchise - is one sequel I suspect we'll be hearing a bit about at Comic-Con this summer. The film is done, awaiting release this fall, and the film's co-star, Fiona Dourif, took to Instagram to show off some soundtrack art, which not only gives us a glimpse at what is possibly the poster for this direct-to-DVD title but presents a good look at Chucky himself. Head inside for a larger look!
Written and directed by Don Mancini, the film concerns Nica (Fiona Dourif), a young woman grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother's affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica's plans for the future, Barb's young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail.
But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn't know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He's determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he's going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

You know, you keep complaining that we don't have review threads for certain movies. Maybe, just maybe, you could request that they be made in the thread.

Just maybe. He won't do anything about it.

Can you please link to a few examples of this type of complaint from me. Thank-you in advance.
BTW, I have requested plenty of threads over the years, newbie (110 to be exact) - - in the case of this thread, I was simply expressing surprise that such a fine movie had escaped our quite comprehensive review portfolio.

I don't remember what thread it was, but you just said the same thing about The Family Man a few days ago lol

Very good - - that makes two times I have conveyed incredulity that a great film doesn't have a KJ review thread.
Is that really enough to warrant your indignation to the degree that you say that I "keep complaining", that "maybe, just maybe" I could try requesting a review thread for once (despite the evidence that I have no qualms against doing so), and being so flabbergasted by my behavior that you conclude your whining with a : zonks : emoticon?
This is beneath you, movies35.

Re: First Look at CURSE OF CHUCKY (Child's Play)
So there is this one, the 6th film in the series which is losing the comedy aspects, and the bride and son as well. But there is also a reboot being made right now too, also by Mancini that's supposedly super dark. I wonder if Douriff is back for that one too.
