 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
$600-$700m.
This will make $1b worldwide, of course. It's obvious, and so easy nowadays, that it will reach that mark.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
Yeah, I forgot something, this could cross 600m with ease, knowing that it wont face any big competition until Fast 6 and the hangover 3. Sadly Star Trek does not seem to be a proper contender OS,

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
IM3 increased with last movie and even though Avengers would result in this increasing this time and then there is always China. Still with all these factors I don't see this increasing double from last movie. I'd say $530m (70% increase over last movie) with a slight chance of $550m.
I think the predicted 70% increase over last movie is already HUGE.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
Based on early reports IM3 should open to 100 million + this weekend overseas and then again with May day holidays.
Appears to be like how TA was last year.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
I guess releasing Avengers last year was one of the smartest BO moves ever. The increase over IM2's OS total is going to be quite impressive, in Italy for example IM3 will likely double its predecessor.
I have a 700M+ feeling.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
I'm thinking $600 million overseas and around $950-970 million worldwide.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
Iron Man 3 will likely outgross Iron Man 2 overseas gross in less then 3 weeks.
The insane overseas gross will require South America to get huge grosses. TA had near record breaking grosses in most markets there.
I think the biggest increase will be from markets where IM2 really underperformed especially in Europe.
Then markets like Russia and SK and Latin America will increase and add in anywhere rom 50-75 million more from China.
Would be shocked if it missed out on 500overseas /800 WW

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
People here love the whole Iron Man thing, so expect big grosses here in China. I've seen advertisements already, and that's unusual. Usually only get adverts on the week that it debuts.

100 million possible?
If it does that would get a +75 million gain from IM2 from one market alone... Add in markets like SK and Japan and Russia adding 10-15 + extra each alone.

 Re: Iron Man 3 (INTL)
If IM 3 breaks out in China and performs better in Europe, 1B is happening

It will also be given every opportunity to succeed with most markets seeing a 3 week gap between itself and Star Trek 2. If you don't view Star Trek 2 as competition, then most territories will have a 4 week breather before Fast & Furious 6.

Sure, why not. But I wouldn't predict this much. But I think it is possible. If Transformers 3 can get there, then Iron Man 3 definitely can.
