 Re: The Dark Knight Rises The great thing that superhero movies have going for them is their ability to be over the top and ludicrous, and all Nolan's done by making it serious is to take away the one entertaining component.
If Batman wasn't in the movie, but say, The Punisher, or Max Payne, I'd be loving it as much you guys do with Batman in it.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises Sooo, on tuesday I was really in the mood for watching this again (9th time), loved it as much as ever and made me want to watch TDK again (~20th time), and now that made me want to watch Rises again, for the 10th time, and I loved it even more than the 9 times before.
Just a little example to illustrate my deep, endless love for this perfect trilogy.
