Oh, it is a lock for $200 million worldwide...I am talking $200+ million overseas alone as a possibility.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
I don't thin $200m OS will happen with Jack and Oz releasing soon still $150m OS seems achievable. I think they should consider a sequel.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
I really think it has a fighting shot to hit $200 million overseas, which would be absolutely terrific. The very minimum I see for it is $170 million OS and $225 million worldwide.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
That's a really good hold in face of Jack. $200m OS might not happen but it is crossing $200m WW for sure now. That is quite good for this kind of movie.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
It's off to an awesome start in Germany: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/germa ... =09&p=.htmIs headed for 200+ WW. Come on sequel!!! Could be a consistent franchise like Resident Evil or Underworld. I bet a sequel would only grow overseas.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
I would love, love, love to see a sequel. I am not sure Jeremy Renner is at a place in his career, though, where he will move ahead with a modest, safe action-horror franchise.

If, in a couple years or so he's not that big, maybe he'll be in a place where he'd agree to one.

Replace him. He's nothing special anyway.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
Yeah I don't mind replacing Renner from this franchise. It might loose some of its steam initially but you can get some other low-budgeted action star anyways.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
Most reviews say he's one of the worst parts of the movie anyway because of his lack of charisma and noticeable disinterest at times.
Possible replacements the studio would probably consider:
Sam Worthington Ryan Reynolds (could work given the comedic nature of the first film)

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
Ryan Reynolds could be an excellent choice IMO. He should be doing more stuffs like these than the god awful Green Lantern.

I hate when they switch actors. I wouldn't even want a sequel if they did. That's just too distracting.

I enjoyed him in it. I liked both him and Arterton in it. Regardless I just hate to see significant characters played by new actors in movies or on shows.

Re: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (OVERSEAS)
I too agree that I hate seeing sequels with different actors though I would still like to have a sequel rather than not having one because an actor cannot return.

$3 million away from hitting $200 million worldwide.
