Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
And, on another note, let's talk about ridiculous twists in general. I'll come up with a list later, but this film here, definitely makes my Top 5 of the past ten years. So does Hide and Seek. And Saw 3D (Sorry, The Dark Shape).

Perfect Stranger with Halle Berry has one of the worst end twists ever.
The twist in Orphan was mind-bogglingly ridiculous but that movie was mostly enjoyable so I won't really complain.

Matchstick Men. Fantastic movie until the end twist, which ruins it.

Basic The Life of David Gale Basic is twist after twist after twist, that the actual movie should have only been 7 minutes long, such a fuck up and not in the good way. Of the most common conventional twist ending, I think Identity does it one of the best way. The big twist that someone may have predicted has a nice secondary one right at the end.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
The Village has a fantastic twist. It gives the film a disquieting political component.

I really like The Village, and the ending made me like it even more The Forgotten, that ending was hella awful. Blame it on the Aliens!

Also, The Devil Inside. I dont think that counts as a "twist ending" but it was sure awful. It made a bad movie even worse.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
I loved The Village, and the twist was great. M. Night started to go downhill from The Lady in the Water, in my opinion. His only other bad movie is The Last Airbender.
