Don't worry about the grosses. The Ring 2 will make shit loads of money this weekend and I will still be pissed off about it. I am sure Sin City will be a entertaining movie.

BOM has the film estimated at 2,500+ theaters.
What are your thoughts on the estimate :?:
I personaly feel that by the time april first rolls around the estimate will jump to 3,000+ theaters. cheers to a theater count between 3,100 and 3,400 screens rink:

Bunch of reviews at AICN http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=19683 about 9 or so, only one being negative. Harry has gotten over 30 reviews, and only 3 of them were negative. Saying things about the violence is too much, which I could care less about
Quote: All in all, I loved it and I feel that if the right audience finds this movie, it could be very successful, critically and comercially. If Miller and Rodriguez are planning to film other Sin City stories, I don't think it could happen soon enough and I hope they go on to adapt other of Frank Miller's work (see also: Daredevil, Ronin). Quote: Sin City is a wild ride, and you won't want it to let up one bit. Hard boiled men, and harder edged women. If you haven't read the books, don't worry, you won't be lost. Just open yr mind and go with the style of the film. Quote: I will be seeing this again, and again, and again. There actually is no telling how many times I will pay to see this film. The most perfect comic book film made to date. It elevates it to an art form. Quote: Overall, though, it’s a ripping good time. Sex and blood enough for a good long while. The fights are fun and the women are hot. If you have to visit the doctor the next morning to give a sperm sample like I did, you won’t have much trouble finding images from SIN CITY to ruminate upon while doing your bit for science.

So far 17 people are seeing it opening weekend. That is at least $100-120 dollars towards its opening weekend.

I'm going to adjust my prediction slightly. I do believe it will have a low multiplier, but there is more room for it to go above my current multiplier then below it. So, I'm keeping the same total, but with a 28m opening.

I'm thinking anything between 2.1-2.6 is possible unless WOM is incredible.

I have a feeling that word of mouth will be solid on this one. It could do anywhere from $70 million to $100 million by the end of its run. Right now I'm predicting a $28 million opening and an $80 million finish.
