Perhaps people are not as one dimensional as you think.

PAUL THOMAS ANDERSON, JAMES CAMERON, JOEL & ETHAN COHEN, DAVID FINCHER, STANLEY KUBRICK, ANG LEE, RIDLEY SCOTT, M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN, STEVEN SPIELBERG, QUENTIN TARANTINO

I tried to get my top films like Young Frankenstein, Star Wars, or The Slience of the Lambs represented but I couldn't pick a third Mel Brooks film, George Lucas has too many bad ones and Demme I couldn't pick after Lambs and Philadelphia. I went with most directors who had three very good films that I like.

ANG LEE
1. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
2. Brokeback Mountain
3. Life of Pi

STEVEN SPIELBERG
1. Schindler's List
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Saving Private Ryan

JOEL & ETHAN COHEN
1. The Big Lebowski
2. Fargo
3. No Country for Old Men

QUENTIN TARANTINO
1. Pulp Fiction
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. Kill Bill vol 1

STANLEY KUBRICK
1. Dr. Strangelove
2. Eyes Wide Shut
3. The Shining

PAUL THOMAS ANDERSON
1. Boogie Nights
2. There Will Be Blood
3. Magnolia

DAVID FINCHER
1. Fight Club
2. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
3. Se7en

JAMES CAMERON
1. Aliens
2. Titanic
3. Avatar

RIDLEY SCOTT
1. Thelma & Louise
2. Gladiator
3. Blade Runner

M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN
1. The Sixth Sense
2. Signs
3. Unbreakable

I had Bay in my list at one point before I remember much better directors.

1. The Rock
2. Bad Boys
3. Pearl Harbor

If he'd have left the industry in 2003 I'd have been calling him one of the best directors ever. But then came The Island and the hugely overrated Transformers trilogy. Bad Boys II isn't a totally bad film, it's quite enjoyable, it's not as good as the first but it's got merit, and in any case, everyone is allowed one mistake, but Bay's made FIVE CONSECUTIVE mistakes since 2003. Pain & Gain had better blow me away or I'll be agreeing with those that say he's a hack.

Thanks, I liked it too. I randomly came across whilst reading an article on college basketball and instantly thought it deserved to be be a sig. Still, I think I like yours better.

Bradley Witherberry has no idea what racism is. Just keep following that crowd, man.

Only a racist would notice and feel it natural or necessary to mention that they are black.

In my defense, I said it because part of Algren's persona is feigning racism and homophobia.

I like how Jeff Withey (the tall white guy in the back) tries to dance and be cool at first, but then gives up half way through

It's not an act, and you've no need for a defence, man. You are not a racist simply because you mentioned that they were black. If they were Asian men doing the same thing in the gif, nobody would lambast you for posting "It is just Chinese people dancing". You shouldn't pander to this double standard/white man guilt that the blacks use as a weapon against us.

I do not believe you are truly racist. ;) My sense is you enjoy pushing people's buttons, particularly those frozen by the rules of P.C. modern society.

Corspe, Ron Clements? Interesting, I know he's Disney's go to guy, but I enjoy Kirk Wise/Gary Trousdale over Clements.

Also, yeah, I need to get on those Satoshi Kon flicks.

I'm racist about black people. I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm allowed to hold these opinions if I so wish. I'm not a violent racist though, which is where racism gets a bad name. If I just wanted to push people's buttons, I'd mention race a lot more often. I'm happy if it never gets mentioned again.

Why are you racist and what particular views does your racism consist of?
