Don't listen to The Dark Shape, Manny. I remember the scene clearly.
"I am almost angry." Iron Man: "Betty Ross is a filthy, filthy whore." "All right. I'm there."

It's not that funny, but I don't think I've laughed that hard when I saw it in a film since probably Wedding Crashers the first time.
Katnis going into the tube when the THG are about to start..
The Unveiling of Batman Statue in the end of TDKR...
and the coolest action scene of the year...
Whedon actually wanted to cut the scene but the cast members insisted that such a scene with the entire team fighting would be amazing...
I remember the audience cheered at this scene and no it was A Sunday night show, so not really full of fanboys...

Re: Best Moments in Movies in 2012...
My best moment at the movies in 2012 was the length of time the audience sat in contemplative silence as the house lights came up after Cloud Atlas finished.
In my theatre, the majority of the audience usually bolts for the door as the last scene fades, but in this instance, almost everyone sat through the entire end credits and even afterwards many still remained seated quietly discussing the brilliance they had just witnessed.
That's movie magic.
