If you doubt the quality of her performance, you are simply delusional. It is an objectively great piece of acting. Re: NY Film Critics Circle Awards Sure, she is good in it. But its not a performance that makes a bad film worth it, ala Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady.
I love Weisz and think she is a brilliant actress... But this was nowhere near the greatness of her Constant Gardener role. As usual, its all subjective.
