I'm downgrading it from 7 to 6 points.

Because re-watching it made me realize how stupid it is.

Since I bought it on thursday I've already watched this two times. I'm pretty sure now that this one belongs into my all-time top ten. It's just SO good. Already getting in the mood for another viewing. I'm obsessed with this movie like I haven't been in forever.

Most perfect trilogy ever.

I saw it for the fifth time in theatres today with a friend....all my criticisms from the first viewing remain. I'll stick with an A-.

This is one of the movies where I have a really hard time understanding how people can feel much different about this movie than I am.

This has A+ written all over it.

4.5 months later......... still a really great movie. Best of the year still. The second half is so intense and emotionnally involving.

I suppose this is one of those movies that if you're on the train, then you adore it. If you're not, then you can't even begin to understand why everybody loves it so much. I'm not on the train. It was entertaining, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Most of the world are not on the train either, so I guess I'm not the odd one out here. Far inferior to Batman Begins.

That trailer is mildly funny, but really, name me one big blockbuster you couldn't do a sarcastic trailer like this?

It is a matter of degree. Compare the above trailer to the one he made for 'The Dark Knight'.

I mean, I'll be honest: the plot holes of the film are fairly big compared to the previous entries (and that's saying something). The third act isn't perfect. And you can make a strong case that this should have been split into two movies that combine for about 4.5 hours (stop the first part after Bane/Batman fight). Its a long movie but it could still have used more scenes. Mainly because each character is actually that interesting that you want to spend more time with them.

Agreed.

Though Im big on the 2 movie theory, but truthfully - they really should have just admitted its long as shit, added on 20 more minutes at the beginning, another 15 in the pit & escaping it, and then the 3rd act exactly as is.
