Yes, he is me. It does look more credible when a real name is used. Maverikk is nothing more than a forum handle, and it made the analysis (and would have made all future columns and articles) look like it just came from some run of the mill forum geek, which it did, but outsiders don't need to know that. As far as they're concerned, and it's my delusional fantasy that keeps me going, so please don't kill the dream, John Marshall is a world class journalist who has won the Pulitzer prize....twice.
Hey it's not like my name is anything remotely close to Archie Gates either.

*plots archie's death*
Since Mav has already told us his first name, John Marshall is his pen name. I would have gone for something more flashy myself.
Next you need a pen name, consult me

haha...one person tells me it's too obvious that it's a pen name, and another tells me that it's not flashy enough.

Ripper's not the mastermind of our criminal network for nothing! Clearly she is the brains and the looks... I'm really getting confused as to what roll I play in the organization. Am I just a nameless lackey?
Nice try, Larry...

Like that's news to anyone here. I think they all know by real name by now, but I officially changed it yesterday.

Well, I don't know these things! I'm out of the loop. Luckily Ripper is all knowing (that's what she tells me!).
Although, I think it would be cool if your name was John... along with your dog you'd be half of the Beatles.

haha...you're closer than you know. The reason I took the name John, was because of my idol, John Lennon. I was trying to think of a last name, and looked over at my guitar amp, which is a Marshall, and there ya go.

I'm a big fan. So is my best friend. We were just talking about the recent TV land marathon recently, actually.
If I recall, Greg didn't pick the name Johnny Bravo, the PR people or the record producer picked it for him. The similiar instance that I can think of in picking a name, which I may have subconsciously done, is when Ian Flemming named James Bond. There was a book on his shelf called Birds of the West Indies, which is actually a prop in Die Another Day, and it was written by a guy named James Bond. The name perfectly suited Flemmings desire to give this most exciting and dashing hero he created, the most boring name he could come up with.

God... I forgot all about that one! I was actually thinking of the Charles Glass one where Jan has to make up a name real quick and just picks things out she sees in the house. But, the Bravo one sounds good too.

Wasn't it Charles Glass? Or did I have that wrong?

That might be it. It didn't ring a bell, but my memory slips frequently when I start thinking of Marsha. #-o
