Re: X-Men First Class Sequel Is Happening
Here is a rumor that would be cool http://www.superherohype.com/news/artic ... ry-detailsI could see it as away at fixing the mess that is X3 and doing a much better Phoenix saga down the road. I would love to see an opening sequence where most of the X-men are killed by sentiles and maybe Bishop? Kitty Pride? Is sent back to the past to stop it and then it creates an alternate future like in Star Trek.

X-Men: First Class sequel will be called Days of Future Past
I think this is awesome http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=93192By far the best storyline of the X-men and it will make a great movie. I imagine Hugh Jackman, Ian Mckellan, Patrick Stewart, and others will be back in the beginning. It could be a good way to make it a reboot (ala Star Trek).

Re: X-men First class sequel will be called Days of Future P
Was just about to post this.
I think this is one of the storylines that everyone wanted them to make. I suspect that they'll use this to connect the cast from First Class to some of those from the original X-Men trilogy?

Yeah I bet Mckellan, Jackman, and Stewart will be back. They could bring back Marsden, the guy who played Iceman, and Colossus. I suppose they could bring back Paquin as well. I don't see Berry coming back.

If they bring back Jackman, Stewart and McKellen and make this in 3D, this will open to $100+ million.

Thats right - would be fantastic if you had Jackman, Stewart and McKellan alongside Fassbender and co. Agree would be HUGE!

I think it has huge potential even though Jackman, Stewart, and Mckellan would probably just have 5 minute roles. However, who wouldn't want to see Wolverine and Magento destroy some Sentinels.

Maybe it's because he impregnated January Jones.

Bryan Singer is a good replacement though since he knows these characters.

It's not like First class wasn't a Bryan Singer film anyway. He was involved in the story, there pretty much the entire shooting schedule, and heavily involved in the editing process.

Whichever directs/produces, I have a very good feeling about this one.

So Vaughn skips Kick Ass 2 to do First Class 2, and is now out of that? I bet he'll take on Snow White 2 now, just to tie up loose ends.

Bryan Singer should have no more involvement in this franchise.

Re: Matthew Vaughn out of X-Men: First Class 2; Bryan Singer
Me too X2 is still the best X-Men film and one of the best comic book movies. I think Singer really wants to make up for having to leave X3 as well. I suspect we will see Mckellan, Stewart, Jackman, and Mardsen all back for the future sequence. Perhaps Paquin and several others will also return.

I'm bored of these X-Men movies now. I am following the Wolverine trail, only.

Re: Matthew Vaughn out of X-Men: First Class 2; Bryan Singer
X2 and Superman Returns are my favorite superhero movies. I'm beyond pleased Singer is directing this, even though I admire and enjoy what Vaughn accomplished with First Class a great deal.
