Re: Weekend Estimates Great weekend. Hotel convincingly beat out Sweet Home Alabama's record (when you consider its kids tickets, makes up for the inflation/3D).
Nice OW for Looper, cinemascore wasnt great but the saturday bump was so hopefully it develops good legs. $80m is possible.
Good holds for the holdovers too.

SWA adjusts to nearly $50m. So I don't think it makes up for inflation, considering 3D tickets even for kids are probably far more expensive than a regular ticket in 2002.

Re: Weekend Estimates The success of Hotel Transylvania bodes well for Wreck-it Ralph and Rise of the Guardians. All three are mashing up pre-existing properties into new products.
