 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
lol I think that episode of Seinfeld ruined the film for me.
When I was watching the movie I kept remembering that episode.

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
The Seinfeld episode is fun.
Still, The English Patient is an amazing, incredibly moving motion picture. Fiennes and Binoche in absolute top form.

It seems like he gets back to Gotham within like a day, although I don't remember the timeline exactly. It could have been some time in between him escaping and the bomb. If I remember, to the point he got out of the pit, did everything in between (finalize his will, Batman signal, etc.) to the point where he meets up with Selina all happens in just about three weeks (22 days before the bomb went off). As for how he got back in to Gotham, he's Batman. He had all that shadow training.

One thing I was wondering......... I was under the impression that when your spinal cord is broken, the vertebrea cuts your spine, leaving you paralysed.

Well that old man said that one of his vertebraes was completely out of line. I imagine that would, at least, severely damage the spine.

Nothing a good kick and a few days hanging in suspension can't cure.

I pictured him smuggling himself in with the food/resources being transported in over the bridge personally

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Anyone seen the film in both (real) IMAX and non-IMAX? I saw TDK in both but not this one yet. Is the IMAX worth it?

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
The minor twist about Little Man Bane toward the end actually hurt the film. - 7/10.
The Dark Knight > The Dark Knight Rises > Batman Begins

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
We must give credit where it is due. You gotta respect Nolan for keeping that Batman voice in all 3 films. Right when BB came out, everyone started screaming at him that they didn't like the Batman voice. But he kept to it in TDK and once again in TDKR. He kept to it, because it makes perfect sense in the movies for Bruce to change his voice when he is Batman. Nolan didn't succomb to the pressure of popular demand. THAT's creative integrity.

A co-worker was refusing to watch this purely because she doesn't like Christian Bale and hates his batman voice. Aside from the inhere silliness of this I tried rationalizing that it was only present in a half hour of the 3 hour film, but she didn't care. I completely agree Nolan had some guts keeping that voice and I never had a problem with it.

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
saw it for the 5th time, easily my fave of the series and maybe my favorite movie ever.
not a single scene is boring. either the acting, music, scenery, or most of all the above, make the scene awesome.
