 Re: Ted
When Ted wasn't being juvenile, it was trivial. The level of humor in this film is pathetic - - low hanging fruit pawed by a lazy writer. I'm not rating it a zero only because of the extended Sam Jones cameo, because I just happen to be a long time fanboy of Flash Gordon. 1 out of 5.

 Re: Ted
Totally forgettable. I saw it last week and I forgot about it till I saw this week's numbers.
It was amusing for the most part though.

 Re: Ted
Wouldn't really recommend it, funny how the most successful American comedies are the least funny.

 Re: Ted
It really plays like a live action version of Family Guy, which means it's hilarious at times, unbearable at others, filled with random non-sequiturs, and far too long. I agree with David; Wahlberg was the wrong guy for this part. And the Ribisi storyline was just weird.
I did like the Airplane! spoof though - a spoof of a spoof (meta-spoof?). And the Flash Gordon stuff, of course.

I really don't get why this was such a big hit everywhere. It does have it's moments but like others said, it's totally forgettable.

 Re: Ted
I don't watch Family Guy but I found this pretty funny. Mila Kunis was very appealing.

Kunis is hot in it. It's funny, a great movie, definitely in the style of The Family Guy.

I liked the movie. The hotel fight was extremely funny. Though the movie is maybe 10 minutes too long.

 Re: Ted
This film is so overrated. I saw it opening day and just did not find it very funny. It is never boring or a tough sit, but a comic revelation? Far from it.

Thought it was really funny. Though Ted himself is so much better than anything else

 Re: Ted
Like everybody else I had a lot of fun with it too, but I still don't understand why it was so successful at the boxoffice. Not that it didn't deserve the success, but this isn't Wedding Crashers or The Hangover. Hell I think 21 Jump Street is far superior to this, but I guess a raunchy R-rated comedy about a talking teddy bear has more personal appeal, because so many people can relate to it growing up.

 Re: Ted
Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis certainly helped this at the box office. She's sexy and he's hunky/a top draw. Seth MacFarlane alo helped it a lot as The Family Guy and American Dad have a huge following. The film has an unpredictability about it because of the nature of Ted. People like this, it doesn't fall into the formula that people are so bored with.

 Re: Ted
Yeah, I just watched this and I kind of loved it. I'm not a Family Guy fan at all, so my expectations for this were pretty much nonexistent but this was a hysterical, charming film. I never thought it dragged at all (in fact, I'd go as far as saying it felt much less longer than it actually was). A lot of fun and one of the better comedies of 2012 and a HELL of a lot better than The Hangover.

 Re: Ted
While I didn't laugh out loud once at Seven Psychopaths (unlike with Ted), I understand what you mean about it being funnier. It's a sort of quirky pleasant comedy that doesn't require a belly laugh, but more of an appreciative head jerk. But overall I'd still say that Ted was funnier.
