For the first time I saw a commercial earlier today. It was even better then the trailer. I am beginning to feel confident that the chance of this movie bombing is becoming more remote.

Furthermore, the audience seems likely to be made up of the type of people to know exactly when a film is opening rather then more casual moviegoers. Just look around here, most want to see it even though it is not a blockbuster.

It the only thing playing for that demographic, unless you think Sahara is going to pull audiences away. Fever Pitch is a romcom, so it won't really hurt it. It's got a clear piece of the pie, until Amityville Horror comes out 2 weeks after it's release. Do you really think it's going to cut off that fast, barring bad WOM?

DP07 you really think its gonna open to 29mil and fall that big and end up with 66mil, LXG made 23mil opening week and that ended up with 66mil in the summer. Sin City might be frontloaded a bit - but not big time. Anyways I doubt it'll make 29mil on opening week.
