I find it pretty insane to have four Batman movies in the Top 10. No surprise the franchise broke opening weekend records over and over.

To Scott Pilgrim fans - it actually tied with Kick Ass for #12...

Oh and while their positions are strong, neither Spider-Man 2 nor X2 received a single top spot on any list.

Another surprising thing: while X2 was very strong, the first X-Men film appeared only on three lists in total - less than Thor.

The first Superman got five mentions wih the highest list position for it being #3

Superman 2 fared better and for a while it looked like it'd make the Top 10. It has been mentioned seven times with the highest spot being #2.

Nice to see IM, Spider man 2 and X2 rated so well.

Sure TDK blows them away but are the best comic book films to date.

Atleast Pilgrim made top 15. This board (and the rest of the universe) loves Nolan so the top two are no surprise.

Aw, I wish I'd remembered to send my list in. It's hard to be indignant about things when you didn't make an effort to affect them.

Nice writeup on Begins. Still the only live action Batflick that gave proper focus to the title character. Hopefully TDKR will become the second one to do so.

Yeah Watchmen was brilliant. Should have made it.

And the fact that Vendetta made it, makes me think others haven't seen Watchmen. The movie is perfect. Even Moore himself would have liked it, had he given it a chance. The cast is awesome and the ending is a great improvement over the original. And Snyder had the balls to fuck the general audience staying true to the material.

Watchmen didn't make my Top 10, but just barely. Great, underrated film and a good adaptation of difficult material.

Sadly some of the casting just sucked. Patrick Wilson and Malin Akerman are way too bland.

It was, however, quite a bit better than V for Vendetta, probably my personal least-liked film in the Top 10.

I'll conduct the poll again next year, prior to Iron Man 3's release.

Weren't they in the novel?
How about the ending - it cancels out any flaws. It was the least thing I liked about the novel, and they totally killed it.

Agree completely with this assessment.

The most interesting characters are Rorschack and The Comedian really and they Synder and the actors certainly did them justice.

Okay here's my top 10:

3- Superman 2
4- Xmen 2
5- Spider-Man 2
6- Superman 1
7- Batman '89
8- Iron Man
9- 300
10- Spider-Man

The Avengers was fun but not good enough to make my top 10

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Lecter, you should do another of these votes in the near future. :P Maybe KJ's top ten horror movies? Or top ten sequels? Or top ten favorite actors? It would just be interesting to see more lists.
