Any plans for BOM Forum 10 year anniversary?
Many of us frequented the boards over the years until they were shut down. The years of friendships, debates, battles, and other memories forged through the threads is worth some recognition. Just sayin'

I still think it was a stupid idea to shut the forums down...
It seems to me that BoxOffice is successfully filling the void...

yeah the Box office boards went quite crazy during the Avenger Games.

It seems to me that BoxOffice is successfully filling the void... Kinda funny that Daniel Garris who was the proprietor of BoxOfficeReport (which were like the main BO forums I knew before the rise of BOM killed it off) is a main contributer at BoxOffice. Almost as if things have come full circle.

Oh my...which means I have known some of the folks here for over 9 years (joined BOM on January 2nd, 2003).
The interesting thing is while many of us like to think back to our BOM times, we spent the vast majority of our "forum lives" here at KJ.

Re: Any plans for BOM Forum 10 year anniversary?
I joined BOM in Dec 2003 and there were so many fun times.
There were the wars with Kal El and recently it was the epic flame war between DH2 and TF3.
Lol that site provided so much entertainment...

Re: Any plans for BOM Forum 10 year anniversary?
The top 10 movies the weekend I joined the forums:
1 Mr. Deeds 2 Minority Report 3 Lilo & Stitch 4 Scooby-Doo 5 The Bourne Identity 6 Hey Arnold! The Movie 7 The Sum of All Fears 8 Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood 9 Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 10 Windtalkers
Weird. Some of those movies seem ancient now.

I'm only 25, and I remember doing Box office Guru back even in 2000. BOM made the world so much better. I wish Baumer and the other BOM regulars would come back though. I still have fond memories of winning The trivia game and getting the 14 disc Superman DVD Pack as my prize.

It was an expensive prioize pack, but you deserved it as you did extremely well. We should have reunion of sorts whether it be here or at BOT or both. Even though I'm not here anymore, I still have fond memories of my early years at Mojo....Libs, Doc, Gun, Mav, BKB, Loki, Moose, Lilmac and many many others.....just a lot of fun. And yes, my TTT 264 prediction was attrocious...but not quite as bad as the one I made for The Hangover.

Worst Thing: When crap hit the fan, and certain mods deleted awesome ArchAngel megaposts. Not cool
