God darn it.
This is like the 3rd time I've forgotten to set my predictions even though I suck at predicting.
I'm going to start putting them in on Mondays from now on.

I'm going to start putting them in on Mondays from now on. I do a "preliminary" prediction early in the week just in case I forget. Also, not sure if you know, but you can have email reminders sent to you. http://worldofkj.com/derby_settings.php

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Looks like my AoV prediction is going to be quite low. I went low 20's and right now it's looking like a lock at 25 and might get close to 30.

Thanks! Finally getting the right feel for the openers; hope it continues.

So has the derby deadline extension idea been scrapped?

No, it will be extended to 7AM in the coming future. I'll probably make the change in time for the start of the next quarter.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Congrats pasaway for the second win! The most dominating win so far, I think?

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
- I wonder if Zingy will be able to hold on and claim the opening Quarter without any wins. Only a few weeks left! - It's fun looking at the relative score and seeing how Xiayun and bl1222 would be doing had they not missed a week (hint: ranked #1 and #2 with Zingy #3).

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
It's been almost 4 years since I predicted a top 10, a little rusty at first but I think I'm starting to get my stride back. With all the tracking available now, its just not as fun as it used to be though.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Heh, could always make a Derby: Advanced, where the deadline is a week ahead of the derby. That would certainly increase the level of difficulty.

Ha I used to run a box office game on BOM with that premise. Definitely took a lot more skills. I can't make predictions now without looking at tracking, which sadly does take away a lot of the fun surprise.

I've been holding on to #1 for the quarter for a few weeks now. I'm kinda nervous I'll lose it by the end.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
I found something interesting about the quarterly chart. zingy's average and relative scores are both higher than mine. But when looking at openers and holdovers scores separately, I see my scores are higher than his. Is that possible?

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
I think that depends on how those scores are being calculated. Logically you should be in front of him, but statistics often do lead to some weird results.
