Indiana is the best adventure movie.
Galazy quest is the best scifi spoof
Austin Powers is the best Bond spoof
I loved AP and GQ because they make fun of my two favorite franchises. Good times.

Great list. I love nearly all the films you listed. And I'm sure I would like the one's I haven't seen, too. Our tastes are very similar.

Glad to hear it. rink:
Maybe you should think about doing a top 100, if you haven't already. It takes a bit of work but I'm happy I did it.

It can be hard, you probably will think that you can't think of that many movies, but soon you'll realize that theres way to many to think of.

You sign up (and you'd be next, since we're near the end of the line for this thread, anyways), make a list of about 100 movies (maybe more, if you can't narrow it down), and start posting 10 at a time. They don't have to all be in the same day, but try to post atleast 20-30 a day.

#7 is pretty close to #11.
Fight Club appeals to me much in the same way A Clockwork Orange does. I am, quite simply, in love with anarchy.

I checked my list, and realized Fellowship of the Ring was my #7 choice. Guess its not such a bad decision.
Your list was very good overall though Loyal, great job!

1. A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Out of these 5 I've seen Boogie Nights and Pulp Fiction. Boogie Nights is pretty good, Pulp Fiction is #8 on my all time list. I need to see A Clockwork Orange, I've heard mixed things about it though. I shall add it to my Netflix queue.

Meet the Feebles....I have faith in loyal's PJ fan selection. He'll be up there, and loyal did say he liked muppets.

Haha! That's how I feel. Clockwork just didn't win me over. However, I have also not seen Awakenings. Other three are great pics though, and very surprising. Boogie Nights is an interesting pick, mostly because of the watchability factor, but again, Schindlers List is on your top 100 too, so I guess your list isn't just about movies you can watch ten times. Pulp is my second or third fave Tarantino, but honestly, T is a bit like Jarmusch for me, even his worst film is so incredibly good that it just means that much more for my respect to their careers. Crying Game? The only unfortunate thing for me was that I was in a camp with no electricity and when I was bored and hiking one day my friend (who had loved this movie) told me the entire thing, literally, word for word (took her 'bout two hours) so by the time I actually saw it I knew everything. Stunning nd smart movie. BTW, I have Boy George Crying Game on cd and listen to it over and over again. One of the best songs ever.

There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.
You needn't take it any further, sir. You've proved to me that all this ultraviolence and killing is wrong, wrong, and terribly wrong. I've learned me lesson, sir. I've seen now what I've never seen before. I'm cured! Praise god!
Watch Awakenings and prepare to be shattered.
I could love to see a sequel to The Crying Game with Dil and Fergus living together.

AND MY #1 FILM OF ALL TIME
1. A Clockwork Orange (1971)
A Clockwork Orange grew on me a lot after I watched it, and I think I would actually have it somewhere on my list, as well. It's definitely one of the the most visually challenging films I've seen. A totally different film experience.
Like Pulp Fiction, Boogie Nights has recently become one of my favorites via rewatchability factor. Anderson is one of the few directors today who knows how to do these 'epic dramas.'
I haven't seen The Crying Game, but it's always been on my list of films to see. I hope knowledge of the twist doesn't do too much damage.
I liked Awakenings, but... eh. A littttle too sentimental for me.
