I've still yet to see Se7en. I keep meaning to but whenever I go to Blockbuster I forget about it. I've almost purchased it at MediaPlay several times, but the $24.99 price is more then I care to pay.

Whatever it was, it was very large because of the noise it was making. Everyone began to freak out, but my brother kept insisting there was a logical explanation. That is until they came to the bend in the trail and saw..... gotta go, folks....I'll post the rest later. This is absolutely a true story too!  you bastard. I hate cliffhangers. lol Tolkien and Jackson did cliffhangers too, you know! I am sorry for the delay so.....
Part 2
This part I don't remember well, but as my brother and his friends came upon the bend in the trail they saw a pair of large eyes about 6-7 ft. above the ground. You know how an animals eyes shine in the night when a flashlight hits it? That's how these eyes were. I'm assuming it was because of their light and they didn't just naturally glow.
At this point my brother abandoned all logical thinking and he and his friends turned and ran back as fast as they could. I think they dragged one girl most of the way because she couldn't keep up. They had gone almost a mile and were almost back to their car when they had to stop. They could hear whatever it was crashing through brush in a dead run chasing after them. They didn't stop to catch their breath but ran the rest of the way back to the car.
The next night, I think the entire campus of this small junior college was out looking for this thing because my brother and his friends were terrified and told everyone what had happened. The intersting thing is the wasn't the first time someone in the area had seen 'something'. The locals had even named it the Skunk Ape because of it's smell and appearance.
I remember my brother coming home from college and sitting in my parents kitchen talking to my dad about the incident for a couple of hours and my dad saying "Myabe it was a bear, or this animal, etc." and all my brother could say was "Dad, I don't know what it was but I've never seen anything like it. " He never got a clear look at it and even today doesn't like talking about it. It still frightens him. Occasionally when I see him every 2 - 3 years I'll ask him about it and he'll talk about it a little but not much.
As a young boy living in rural southern Oklahoma it certainly scared me. Our nearest neighbors were about a mile away. I rode the bus home and would usually be the first one home before my parents arrived for work about half and hour later. I always half way expected to have Bigfoot hanging around behind the house when I got home!
Anyway, sorry to distract from Loyal's great list. I'm also sorry for the cliffhanger, but I ran out of time. True story and I hope everyone enjoyed it.

-- Shawshank is a movie I never get tired of. Heaven forbid I should be flicking the channels and come across it because that's where the flicking ends.
-- The Thing--very high up on my list and another movie I could see often. Some of the effects have lost their impact, but it is still an incredible grossout. I love seeing it with a "newbie."
-- Pee Wee--so funny
-- Life of Brian--saw it for the first time about a month ago and nearly burst a blood vessel from laughing so hard
-- Sideways--so desperate to see it, but too lazy to seek it out downtown so I will wait for the dvd.
-- Schindler's List--loved it, but I can't watch it again. it's too painful for me.
-- Office Space--I need to see it again because my friends quote it and I only saw it once and I don't remember quotes.
