Wait, xiayun has never had a 4 spot? That is odd.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
He does have 5 consecutive years with at least 2 wins though, which only Omni & Corpse have matched, and is the only player to have 6 years with 2 or more wins. And only you two have won in 7 calendar years.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Look like the 9/16-9/18 weekend won't be counted towards anything even though it's scored. Not thrilled since it means I'd need make up another 30 points in the remaining weeks on Omni/Corpse, and it's already hard as it is, but will just strive to be more precise in future predictions.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Look at this way, Jack. You had the lowest score of the month taken out so your average is still quite high.
I have a feeling I'll be going big or going home with this week's derby.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Yeah if I look at it that way then yes, but I had (sort of big) advantage over 5 people ahead of me in the year end ranking in that game

Without that week it looks like I am in 3rd place for the month of September 2011 instead of first place. My first ever weekly derby win was Labor Day weekend 2011. My second win was the weekend of 9/16-9/18. (2 wins this month.) I guess maybe I shouldn't complain, because in July 2011, I was in the top 10 three different weeks, with the highest ranking week coming in 3rd place, and yet I end up in 1st place in the monthly ranking for July 2011, without ever winning derby.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
I added you to my derby statistics Turk - I keep a separate list of the game indexes. The only thing I don't know is what the average score for the game was.
I used to keep a list of all players and their scores for every single game, but it's too much work to keep up, esp. considering that people change their user names so I can't maintain accurate stats. And now with games like this, there's not even data available.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
77.82% with estimates. Bad week but that happens when you go off the board with two predictions.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
While my numbers are not bad with 87.82% estimates I was off by a lot on WYN?, I thought having more screens would result in something just above tracking, but it looks like only WYN? would be close to tracking numbers.

With estimates, I'm 0.49% behind you with 87.33% My killer was Dream House which I had at 11M. Let's see what happens with actual grosses though. Looking at Sunday estimates. my score might improve a bit.

That would be a great score Sol, I hope we have a tie Dream House increasing would bring me closer to 100% on that one and any increase for WYN? is highly welcomed by me

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
I am not believing the estimates this weekend, given that last weekend was horrible, though I read at THR that Monday is like a minor Holiday so I guess family movies will do better.
For now with the current estimates I am at 89.84%, I don't even have any holdover with 100% this weekend. Hope I could be above 89% with the actuals.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
One more week with The Lion King and What's Your Number; interesting. Guess predicting 12 films is the norm now.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Its good to see such great scores even with 12 movies. I remember it used to be difficult with 12 movies atleast for me, now I guess Derby regulars are getting used to it.
