you can tell I'm excited by my use of caps.

It's been a long time since I've seen it so this will be wonderful.

Ooo ooo, I'll watch! Although, I've seen the movie, just with different dialogue and soundtrack. It's the video of the film, but with new dialogue and music. It was released in 1991. It's one of the longest titles ever, I believe. Here's a link about it: http://imdb.com/title/tt0230575/

If you look a bit, you'll find a site where you can download it. The guy who made it wants people to see it, since it obviously isn't a big movie, nor was it back in 1991. It's sure as hell not everyone's cup of tea, but I found it really funny. It will ruin the actual movie for you, though, so if anyone ever considers downloading it and watching it without seeing the original first (like I did), I would suggest seeing the actual movie Night of the Living Dead first.

I heard about that. I never actually felt like watching it though. Maybe after the weekend I'll take some time to see the "spoof", if that is what you can call it.

Yes, it does fall under the spoof category, but I don't know what to really call it. If you like completely ridiculous humor, you'll like it. But, if you despise it, don't shoot the messenger!

So we have 9 members now? Isn't this the largest turnout.

I was thinking we should have a different movie every weekend. Perhaps I'll even add it to Ultimate Movie Mayhem? Doesn't have to be horror, just something like a cult classic or an obscure film?

Galia!

... :-k I can call you that, right? I saw all those super cool kids doing it, and I thought maybe you gave 'em permission to call you by your first name. Well... it's peer pressure! They made me do it! Now they'll make me smoke and drink, too!!

... yes, the ridiculously randomness of X has arrived in the Over Seas forum. But... *deep movie trailer voice* For how long?

Yes, this is by far the largest turnout! We want to do this sort of regularly. Horror, themed, but fairly open about what horror is. Not every weekend, its too much, we'll end up not being special. But maybe once a month?

I'm thinking next month either Miserly, Black Orpheus, or Nosferatu? But we kick up a thread for suggestions first of course.

I'm actually getting pretty psyched for this. I'm going to watch it Sunday afternoon I think.

X, I know some people call me Galia. dolce is prettier, but if you want to call me by my name I guess you can. Only if you tell me yours though.

Well, those cool kids pressured me! I'll call you Dolce, because I'm more used to it now. I've always called you that, I think. Well, here at least. I don't think I talked to you much back at BOM. The 4000+ members thing, with a few hundred frequent visitors never allowed me to get to know you, Zingaling, torrino (eldiabloadentro, at the time) or matatonio all that much. ... I go off on tangents too easily. I forget what it was I was supposed to say. Oh yes, names.

My first name is Joey. ... yes, I'm a baby kangaroo! Torrino said it sounds like the name of a little kid, which I was at one point, but perhaps I should change it eventually. Most people call me Joe, which makes me feel old. It sounds like the name for an old guy. Joseph is my full first name, and I hate my full name. ... wow, again with another tangent! Once I start talking about something, it's hard to stop. Sometimes, if I make a really serious post, with serious content (which is rare, I know), I'll end my post with "~Joey~" just to make it sound more credible. The name "Mr. X" isn't exactly synonimous (sp?) with credibility, so I like to make it sound like my post means something. Lame, eh?

I feel like I just joined a new forum, and posted in a Newbie section.

We have nabbed the elusive gardenia! Thanks for the Orphee suggestion too, I am going over with makeshift if we should watch that or the Brazilian version soon. He already knew the film you mentioned, so I'll make him watch the other version, and then we'll probably do another horror night with them. Cheers!

Hi Lecter! Sorry I settled for NOTLD instead of DOTD, but it seemed less people had seen this one (or seen it less recently because there wasn't a re-make). I've still got DOTD on reserve for the future. Glad you could join us. Horror fanbase woudn't be the same without you.

Great to hear. I've not seen it yet, so it will be quite fun for me I do believe.

Anyone seen it yet? I've not been able to pick up a copy, but I'm going to try to find one tomorrow before I go to work. If and when I find it I'll be watching it tomorrow evening.
