I thought this was quite wonderful. Fairly simple. Pretty funny. Alice Eve is gorgeous. And it didn't include lame sub-plots. It was all about the relationship, which was refreshing.

Good script that focused on the characters with interesting varieties of personality (like the Disney freak) and their relationships instead of tired plots.

It's made somewhat worthwhile for being funny for a good portion of the film. But right around the point where they break up because the script forces them to, it quickly runs out of steam. And if I see another romantic comedy where the finale involves a chase through an airport, I'm going to lose my mind.

How is that nerdy looking guy from the posters a 7? Does they explain why in the movie? Cause it bugs the crap out of me.

Yes, that's one of the funnier scenes in the movie because they mention how ridiculous the rating system is, and the ones who don't think it's ridiculous tries to come up with illegitimate logic for this system. The Nerdy guy tries to tilt his score based on personality, and his car. So yes, the rating system is one of the jokes in the film.

She's Out of My League is a charming comedy that doesn't drive on the usual cliches to get through. The usual boy meets girl routine seen in recent R-rated comedies is not seen here and the film actually feels original despite so many films of the genre being released. While Jay Baruchel (who seems to have some promise) and Alice Eve do fine in their roles, the film achieves greatly with its supporting cast. T.J Miller being the highlight out of the whole cast the most with a lot of his delusional yet spot on comedy. Krysten Ritter also does a strong job with many of her one-liners. It really is a great comedy and a true surprise. ***1/2

Very cute and funny flick. I had a great time. T.J Miller and Krysten Ritter were hilarious! Ritter should have been in it more. I loved her.

This gets a hard B from me. I almost want to give it a B+, but I just can't. I will definitely see it again on DVD though and I'm really glad I went. I'm happy it's doing solidly at the Box Office. It deserves to do even more than it's doing but it's still a success and better than recent R-Rated comedies like The Hangover. God I wish people would stop quoting that movie. Its popularity annoys me . This was funnier, and the "plane doctor" line was great .

LOVED it. I'm surprised so few on here have seen it. The story felt pretty original, and the lines were hilarious. Jay Baruchel's wider friend was great ("bustin' my nuggets") as well as TJ Miller who deserves more work.

I'm also a big fan of this movie - - glad to hear people are still discovering it!

It was decently funny but ridiculously unbelievable and either than Alice Eve and Ritter, most of the rest of the cast were plain bad.

Actually, no they don't have big enough roles to be bad but Miller and Baruchel were quite awful. Baruchel barely works because he's supposed to be awkward and nerdy, but seriously, he acts and looks the same with every expression he has and not to mention half the time his voice is monotonous. It barely worked in Tropic Thunder and it barely works here again, but the more work he does, the more he has to diversify because it's not going to cut it.

How to Train Your Dragon, which was awesome, nearly took a knock with Baruchel's on and off voice-acting. He masked some really well but at other times it's quite bad, hell even the one-liners in the Sorcerer's Apprentice trailer sound really bad. But, moving on, TJ Miller sounds fine but his face doesn't match his lines. His face is practically a stone for the entirety of the movie.

I'll give it a B, but the praise on either Baruchel or Miller, if any, is unjustified.

This movie is fucking awful and completely by the numbers (Dog licking semen on pants might be the lamest thing I've ever seen in a film desperate for laughs)

D just because theres nothing wrong with Alice Eve at all (Performance or look wise, if only they went for an actual original or artsy version of this, it could have had some real potential)

This movie is amazingly hilarious. Great to rewatch again and again.
