Harry Potter and its Deathly legs: The TF3 #1 Domestic Club
Yes. TF3 will still win the year because HP7 Pt.2 will continue to have shittier legs than expected -which is the golden rule for HP films since HP5. TF3: 370m total HP7 Pt.2: 365m total Who's with me? Members: 2001

TF3 getting to 370 seems far more unlikely to me than Potter stopping at 365.

With a 12m weekend, TF3 would need a 4.6 multiplier from here on out. Not gonna happen. Really? I didn't really do any math or anything in making this. How about.. TF3: 362m HP7 Pt. 2: 360m ?

TF3 will break 350 but not much more than that. DH2 would need another 60% drop next weekend for this to be possible.

It's OW was OBVIOUSLY inflated by the TDKR teaser. Since it was released online, HP has dropped like a rock.

Re: Harry Potter and its Deathly legs: The TF3 #1 Domestic C
The chances of this being close have considerably increased, still though HP from here should drop harder and harder and specially on weekdays, which I don't see happening. Maybe not this week/weekend but by next weekend I can see it stabilizing a bit.
I see TF3 making $360m from here on out. From a $12m weekend it needs 3.8, I think it has a potential to get to 4 for $362m or so.
HP on the other hand with 50% drops here on out will make $380m (It might drop a little harder in weekdays this Monday). So even with this drop I don't see that big of a difference.
If DH2 drops more than 55% next weekend (or maybe 60%) as well then there are chances for this club, ofcourse TF3 should also be holding well against the onslaught of August releases.

Nah, DH2's legs won't be that bad after that horrendous 2nd weekend drop. TF3 dropped another -55% on its 3rd weekend.

Re: Harry Potter and its Deathly legs: The TF3 #1 Domestic C
TF3 did not get any legs at all, HP itself isn't doing as well but the opening really mattered the most in its run.
With HP crossing TF3 this Monday, this club can be officially called a "fail".
