Pretty good weekend gross i think, it's only $15m away from $800m. I think it will do it...unless it either gets chopped totally by Harry Potter or they start to pull it away of markets.

Alice In Wonderland is going down however. It bugs me seeing too pretty ordinary Pirates releases so hihg on the WW charts.

Alice is sure to go down but TS3 will be safe. I am just wondering if HP has any chance of doing this well in OS markets, Pirates held very well in face of competition from KFP2 (3D). HP though is much more frontloaded and should tumble down specially with gradual release of Cars2 (3D) and to some extent Captain America (3D), though it is already known for big drops after opening.

It is now at $787m total through 13-July. This weekend will be quite hard for it as Potter is sure to hit hard. I see it making another $5m till this weekend for a total of $793m. $800m will be a crawl from here on but I am sure Disney will push it past that mark. Let's see if Potter can catch it up in OS total.

This is actually better than I thought. I agree Disney is pushing this to $800m OS mark. All they have to do is make sure it is hanging around for another 3-4 weeks and I think it should get there, if not earlier.

Added about $3.3m since this time last week....definately slowing down a lot....it's going to be close to $800m though i think with a small push it could get over there.

I expected it to cross $796m-$797m this weekend, $800m would require another 3-4 weeks now or probably more. I can see Potter crossing this before Pirates.

Crazy it's the 7th highest grossing in the all-time worldwide list. FUCKING INSANE it did it with only 238 mill domestic gross.

It still's crazy it got up there with that low of domestic gross.

Screendaily says that the number is now $798.7m, looks like $800m will be a big crawl and might require a small push from Disney (in terms of keeping it in theaters for longer time).

Its just surprising that the movie hasn't yet crossed $800m OS total almost after the end of summer.

It's stuck at $798.5m for a while now.....i'm sure there's no way they'll let this fall below $800m.

I didn't find the latest updates but I think BOM's numbers are not updated. It should be close to $799.5m by now. Has it already been released in Indonesia ? If not will it be released there ?
