I don't consider those photos topless. I mean yeah she's technically not wearing a top but you don't see any more than you would if she was on a beach wearing an ordinary bikini.

I really don't think Britney's that bad in real life. Only in her videos and when she needs to put on a show for the paparazzi and magazines is she a tramp.

Yep, you can't put the entire blame on Britney. Not at all. It's just as much the parent's responsibility as it is Britney's or Christina's, who I think is far sluttier, IMO.

As for the "When": Dont worry after 2 more CD's and marriages and cancelled tours, she'll release a best-of or a live collection and when it tanks, and sells like 9000 copies in its first week, on the Billboard top 1023, she will make her comeback via Playboy. The boob thing worked for Janet.

Yes its a huge part of the parents resposibility to watch what their kids watch. But Spears 5yrs ago or whenever she started looked like the sweet neighbore girl next door. Now shes not and no matter how hard you try kids will always find away to see or do something.

I do find it funny how Britney Spears is pinned with the problems of pop culture as a whole - mostly thanks to the way the media are doing what they do to every artist that gets too big - they are trying to pull Spears off the top of her game. [which isnt really working Her record sales were way up from her third album in 2004/2005 inspite of the hundreds of unflattering paparazzi pics of her literally everywhere.]

Make no mistakes that Britney Spears is a very smart woman in that respect - she runs multi million dollar industries off her sex appeal. She knows how to launch her career to new heights even when creatively she may be in a rut.
Even in the beginning with her virginal look - she dressed as a schoolgirl and made every teenage boy in the world discover a new level of masturbation with one video; shes based her career on a mixture of sex appeal, imaginative videos and brilliant pop songs.

But as for Spears being this bad example? When she released her third album "Britney" and it did....not so great across the globe, it became clear that going with the bubblepop angle wasn't going to work any more - the sales were sliding, the singles were bombing and her fanbase had grown up and it was time for her sound to grow up too.

So "In the Zone" and its singles were such big hits [considering everything that was pitted against it ie a cancelled tour, only 3 singles as a result of injury and lack of global promotion] and stopped the sliding of Spears' sales because she presented a more grown up image of herself, and a more grown up sound to go with it; lots of RnB overtones and i cant remember the last time i went into a club and heard Britney Spears until 2004 when it seems everywhere was playing her "in the zone" songs.

Sure her sexy new image may not be to the tastes of five year olds or their moms, but its certainly more appealing to her original fanbase who are now in their late teens and in a world where sex is far more important than it ever has been.
Lets just say i saw about 2 kids at her latest "Onyx Hotel" tour where she simulated masturbation, threesomes and lesbian action. Its not exactly PG13 stuff, nor is her new music or image.
