What I don't understand is that its a movie that doesn't really fully satisfy any audience. It lacks the subtle humor and themes of other Pixar works, and doesn't really give the kids too many moments to laugh at or be "wow'd" at. The first Cars at least had more racing sequences/one-liners that the kids could dig. And more importantly, it's got no soul. Mater is easily the worst major character Pixar has ever created.
However, it is worth the price of admission because of the Toy Story short in the beginning.

(Here are the previous ones from 2009 and 2010.)
