 Re: Early Friday Numbers
So x-men is likely going to end up between 138-140m domestically. As for Jack Sparrow. STFU. I liked X-men:FC A LOT. 9/10 However, its boxoffice is a massive disappointment. X-men fans can say whatever the fuck they want. Truth is that it will barely make back its 135m budget. Lowest grossing in the series is absolutely bad.

I hope Nikki is off on the holdovers, otherwise this is going to be a nasty weekend.

Its at almost 130 million after a 11.5 million weekend? Where did you learn math, Id say it has a good chance at 155 million now, and around 370 WW. Fanboy hatred is so funny when they have no basic knowledge. Awaiting the obvious condescending response.

 Re: Early Friday Numbers
GreenLantern. Not nearly as bad as the critics made it out to be and not nearly as dissapointing as i was expecting. Got to admit the backstory is only something a 14 year old virgin would come up with, which works cause lets face it, comic book heroes for the most part cater to the teen set and those forever young at heart.
Honestly it felt about as satisfying and fun as thor. While not as fresh it was more filling. Ryan Reynalds gives it a really good effort. He has good comedic timing. Like him much bette than the lead in thor but then he is more familiar.
Glad to see it didnt bomb and looks to have a respectable weekend.
Some of the dialogue at times was reminiscent of Hulk bad though...guess its the color but it never came close to the shit ang lee put on screen.
On the other hand Xmen FC felt meh to me. But then i never cared that much for the others either. It did feel like it belonged in that group though so i guess they got it sort of right.

The total is 119m NOT 129m. You and Nikki are products of the same college if that!

First Class isn't even worth the argument you two are getting into. Let's all point and laugh at the continuing punching bag of the summer, Kung Fu Panda 2.

It is at 6.5 at IMDB and that is bad for a movie like this. It hasn't even been playing a full day yet? It is too early to determine word-of-mouth. No it's not..

 Re: Early Friday Numbers
If Mr. Popper's Penguins made $7 million yesterday...no freaking way it misses $20 million over the weekend.

And attempting to insult me because I read what was written down, you gotta be able to do better than that. But your math is still wrong chief. an extra 10 million isn't going to not make First Class a disappointment either way. Not bad for Green Lantern, and pretty good for Popper

Not bad for Green Lantern, and pretty good for Popper Gun, I love ya man, but you've got to stop doing this.. Green Lantern did poor for it's opening weekend and so much that you probably won't count on seeing a JLA movie any time soon cause of it..
