I skipped Quantum of Solace, but it's predecessor, the ill-conceived reboot Casino Royale would certainly be high on my list of soul crushing disappointments.

I still remember going to see it with the person I'd seen the first run screenings of many James Bond films, and both of us mourned the fact that they'd sucked all the James Bondiness (gags, girls, & gadgets) out of it and turned it into Generic Action Guy (GAG).
