I feel bad for those guys. Really wish this week wouldn't count.

Total BS. It shouldn't count this week.
But I'm not surprised, the "costumer support" or whatever has been horrendous ever since I discovered BOM way back when.

Luckily we were able to get our entries in before the extended deadline... but with several regular players missing this weekend due to circumstances outside their control (as xiayun put it), it doesn't really seem fair to continue the game this week.

Huh. My picks for this weekend I made last Monday, based on estimates, would give me a derby score of 90.25% this week. Maybe I should never adjust my picks again.

Yeah, that's a record. I get that they want to include Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, and I like such challenge, but there is really no need to also include Source Code, Insidious, or Hanna just because Dylan Dog could potentially gross less than them. If that's the case, we might as well put 20 films in because there is a chance DD could open outside that.

BOM is a strange place as of late.

+1

I always tend to lowball the bottom half of the derby whenever there are more than 10 movies.

Congrats Scott! Excellent predictions, especially for holdovers. And congrats to pull ahead in the total number of wins again. :)

Congrats to Ryu, DIB2, and Omni/Corpse as well.

Thanks guys. I'm glad I went with my guts on the holdovers (Hop and African Cats collapse due to holidays and big drops with competition for the WOM pictures).

This continues my streak of 8 consecutive years with a win (despite my subpar score).

Thanks guys. Wow, just wow. In Chicago, they call this back-to-back jacks. Guess what, Back to Back Jacks. I knew I had a great score, but this is ridiculous. @ Rolling Thunder, yes, to me, stats are a hobby of mine. @ Sparrow, okay, for next weekend, I can give you my insight on the openers and holdovers. I'll let you know when the time comes.
