Ouch indeed. In MExico, OW doesnt really matter that much, it's all about legs and I'm pretty sure YB will get over 10m with ease.

Re: Mexican Box Office Thread - Yogi Bear #1
I am definitely surprised by the 2nd weekend numbers for Black Swan. It increased in almost all the markets and this with good amount but not as many Oscar nominations. The WOM is definitely great everywhere

Great for Rio. Just ok for Hop, I thought with Easter looming it will take over Rio for OS markets. Looks like Rio will take over Hop in OS as well as domestically by quite a big margin

Re: Mexican Box Office Thread - Pirates #1 (breaking record)
Scream kinda found new life but it was still a dissapointing performance. Great for Rio, already passed Shrek 4 & 3 while Fast Five will easily outgross the fourth one. HOLY SHIT @ Pirates' screen count! It nearly doubled the previous record.

Re: Mexican Box Office Thread - Pirates #1 (breaking record)
and i hate it because theres is no damn variety. Over here 7 of a 14 screen theater are for Pirates (1 dubbed versions 3D, 2 dubbed version 2D, 2 in english 3D, 2 in english 2D), 2 for The Hangover 2, 2 for Fast Five and the rest for shit like Priest and Hoodwinked 2 >.< . You add Thor and a random foreign movie and thats pretty much whats playing in the whole damn city.

Re: Mexican Box Office Thread - Pirates #1 (breaking record)
Gotta agree with you, the biggets theater here (12 screens) has 6 for Pirates (1 3D dubbed, 1 3D english, 1 2D dubbed, 3 2D english) 3 for Hangover (2 in English, 1 dubbed) 2 for Fast Five and one for Thor and that's all.
