I guess black swan and blue valentine were good for what they were, King's speech was awful and Inception was a directors movie, the writing just existed to explain the cool engaging shit.

Barbara Hershey, playing Nina's psychotic mother in the horror drama Black Swan.
Marion Cotillard, playing a woman who's presence is known, but nobody but one really knows what she is doing in the twisty action flick Inception.
Amy Adams playing a feisty bartender in The Fighter.
Melissa Leo playing a mother who is almost completely oblivious of what her self destructing son is doing while being her other son's boxing manager.

The performances were hardly more than set pieces and none of them were noticeable or added to the film significantly. It all flowed fine and was acceptable, not bad at all, but worthy an award of the entire casts performance? That's just a huge fucking joke.
